Our country should do a the opposite of what we did when we entered WWII. Back then many of the Civilian Conservation Corps workers went into the military and the CCC ended. When we bring our troops home we should have them do work that needs to be done in the here United States of America. They will still need to train our military for combat, but this project could save money, keep the troops working, and benefit our country in numerous ways. There are very many possibilities to this project.

Require corporations to convert some of their jobs to telecommuting jobs. This will not only cut their costs, but also cut employees’ costs of commuting, and be a green-friendly way of maintaining or even creating jobs. Telecommuting jobs should be a part of the solution. Government itself could implement the telecommuting solution in many departments, and we have the technology to eliminate all those face-to-face meetings around the world via teleconferencing.

America’s system was never good to begin with. Now that obama and his administration is presenting “socialist” ideas that are good for the economy but not good for the individual wealthy man everyone opposed is flipping out of their seat. Oh on the contrary, bush knew exactly what he was doing.

The government is so currupt. Obama is not only corrupt, but he is also trying to slip his socialist agenda under our nose.

Bush was an idiot, but Obama is down right dangerous. I just hope there will still be enough of this country left to recover from his failed agendas.

Smooth talker, but nothing behind the curtain.

I am calling to all people of the world to give attention to my demand and accept the truth of my revelation that the only way for economic recovery is to accept the reality in the event of the second world war that the national treasure of the world was brought to my nation herein the Philippine island and buried for the reservation of my great activity that my Father in Heaven has preparing all these for the fulfillment of his Promise and for the salvation of His people.

Barack Obama is the last and worst evil tyrant this world will ever see….the death!

Already starting with the deadly H1N1 vaccine. Martial law will be declared in 2010, a holocaust will proceed.

So you are happy that someone now calls you a communist to cover your ignorance and bigotry. Just because people don’t support Obama and his terrible policies does not make them a bigot. You need grammar lessons.

That’s not an MSNBC article, it’s an AP article that simply repeats the out of context quotes without drawing a conclusion about what they’re referring to. As I explained, they’re talking about the proxy data divergence problem, which isn’t secret.

Feel free to read everything from WorldNetDaily to DailyKos. Just don’t give their conclusions the same validity as either mainstream media sources or FactCheck, whose reputations rely on relative objectivity.

Wow – sift your way past the hundreds of wingnut websites spewing lies – isnt that called SELECTED READING? Even though I dont agree with the Website dailykos i still read it.

MSNBC – one of the emails -

One referred to using a “trick” that could be used to “hide the decline” of temperatures. Another disparaged the skeptics, and a scientist said “the last thing I need is news articles claiming to question temperature increases.”

I imagine you would dig through 3000 just to find one that

It could just be me, ah i dont think it is. While we (americans)rip each other apart on these debates, the republicans and democrats seem to be pushing the same agenda so why dont we unite as a free people should and ask for accoutability from our elected leaders. That seems a little better then arguing with each other like those elected clowns do.

Well written speech. Cleaning up messes since Reagan. A state of mind is a powerful thing. When knowledge is power, why are schools one of the worst represented aspect of this economic growth? Oh yeah, I forgot… we need those new cars, don’t we? I love that word in this speech “Compete”. Isn’t that what really drives the economy into these messes? I understand it’s hard to change decades of ignorance and I also understand change takes time.

The Chamber of Commerce represents people like you, who have started their own businesses, these businesses employ 80% of americans. They are not corporate superpowers nor are they corrupt unions.

Okay people, I know if you read my comments I’ve been kinda tough on some of the people commenting but I think they’ve had it coming. I don’t want anyone to blindly support anyone, including this President. We have to move beyond this “political” crap and look for viable solutions to our problems. In this time the worst thing we could do is be partisan because it distorts our views. The best way to do that is NOT listening to opinion networks like FOX or MSNBC. Pretenders will be exposed!
