Health Care Reform and Job Creation – Part 3
Dr. Scott Fuller, DC offers an alternative plan for improving the health of the nation by creating clinics across the country which provide information about how to shop and cook healthy, and exercise classes for any ability. These clinics target health care costs by decreasing costly chronic disease rates (heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity) which could save the nation billions of dollars by preventing these diseases from occuring. In addition, these clinics could create thousands of jobs by staffing these clinics with social workers, nutritionists, gardeners, farmers, exercise physiologists, trainers, and janitors and security workers. Initial clinic funding could be with federal stimulus money, and continue to run from the health care cost savings. Look for all three parts of the 30 minute show. Dr. Fuller has a public access cable show in the Woburn, MA area called “Health Source,” recorded at the WoburnPublicMediaCenter.org.
